We have been coming for 20 years so we must love the area. It is so central to many places of interest in easy reach, from the great city of Malaga to Gibraltar. The transport services are excellent and cheap, so travelling without a car is no problem, for the foodie the choice is enormous, and if you are into golf or art this is the area for you.

We have visited Benalmadena many times and always enjoy...
We have visited Benalmadena many times and always enjoy everything about it. The Marina is always a high point but there is much more to this area than just that. The promenade runs all the way from Torrequebrada punctuated by the Moorish style buildings of the Marina and on down through La Carihuela right on to Torremolinos and the stairway up to Calle San Miguel and Nogalera with all the shops and bars etc. Bonanza Square is also a must visit. Prices here for food and drink have to be some of the cheapest in all of Europe. Cross the road to Ibensa Square and take your pick of the bars. Walk along the main road above the promenade again serviced by an abundance of bars and eateries of all kinds to wards the flags roundabout and turn up right to the lovely Paloma Parque with it's lake, quaint shady cafes and cactus gardens. Walk or taxi up to Arroyo de la Miel for shopping, tapas and the railway station which runs a service between Malaga and Fuengirola. A little further up towards the mountainous backdrop is the market place and the cable car terminus. Really there is so much to do here that it is not possible to mention it all. Just go and enjoy the continuous sunshine and wonderful coastline.

We stayed in the Marina area which really suited us.
We stayed in the Marina area which really suited us. So many places to eat in the evening, Laguna, Gringos, Metro. All pretty good and didn't break the bank. Later had a drink in Dec's or Shenanigans; very close to accommodation. We found the Secret Garden which served Barry's tea (for the Irish folk) and is run by a lady from Carrigaline. Good food and staff. The beach is wonderful. Very clean and sunbeds only €7 for the whole day!! Lots of little shops and supermarkets. I'm sure it gets very busy in the high season but we were there early May, it was perfect.
We booked the hotel very last minute and arrived one hour later.
The checkin was the easiest and most organised we have so far experienced.
The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.
Breakfast serving has a great choice of foods.
We used the indoor, outdoor pools and the hot tub….. the sauna wasn’t running during our stay.
This hotel is a minutes walk from the port and is in an ideal location.
We won’t hesitate to book this hotel again and will definitely book for longer.
Alberto (the owner) was super friendly and helpful, he has replied and visited us quickly and immediately answered our all questions.
Apartment is very comfortable with everything a family needs (would be perfect to have a loundry machine too, but there is a rental one in the hotel), it is clean and well maintained. Hotel complex has a supermarket, several pools and is just accross the beautiful and long sea promenade.
We would definitely stay again if come to Benalmadena again.
Good location, very close to the beach, clean rooms (some small renovation recommended, maybe in the future but not a problem, rooms are ok), staff was great, very nice, especially staff from the restaurant, food was absolutely divine, we loved it, congratulations to the chef, amazing food, is the best food until now in a 4* hotel, everything in the restaurant works perfect.great pool also and kids activities.
This is the second time I booked in the hotel.
I love the hotel, for the location and the beautiful view and atmosphere!
It’s safe for a solo traveler ( women) .
I usually book with half board! The evening there are some entertainment ( Music)
It has many terraces ( beautiful)
The stuff are professional, either in the restaurant, reception or the bar.
The hotel receive groups, but it’s fine.
An unforgettable golf holiday at a charming family hotel, where exceptional service, cleanliness, and a prime central location awaited us. We began each day with the breathtaking backdrop of the sea and a delightful breakfast. We explored the picturesque Pueblo of Benalmadena for a captivating day trip filled with scenic views, charming houses, delectable cuisine, and a perfect setting.
The hotel is outstanding. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated. The bathrooms are spotless and restocked everyday with everything you could wish for. Both the pool areas again are immaculate with plenty of sunbeds and space to relax. The food is simply stunning so much choice available. This hotel deserves every one of its 5 starts. Best holiday in Benalmadena ever!
The host was great. She gave us a lot of information about the room and area and quickly answered any questions. The apartment was like a hotel room with a kitchen so a little smaller than I was expecting, but having the kitchen with a refrigerator was nice. The location was right near the beach and restaurants/shops. The pool is awesome, especially the swim-up bar. ;)
The adult only pool area 😁
There is a water cooler machine in reception where you can refill your bottles with cold, fresh water.
The hotel is far enough out of the centre of Benalmadena to be quiet.
The restaurant offers a great choice of buffet foods..... regularly restocked. There is something for everyone. Lovely views over the sea 🙂
I've been traveling a lot in my life and been to many places, but this was honestly the best shared flat I've ever been to. The host is very friendly and helpful, and he respects your privacy.
I highly recommend this flat if you come to Benalmádena.
The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We loved the “boutique” hotel vibe of the accommodation. It was impeccably decorated with carefully curated furnishings. It felt high end / more 5 star than 4 star.
My wife celebrated her birthday while we stayed in Best Hotel Benalmadena and a cake and a bittle of Prosecco were brought to our room. What a lovely surprise and it was hugely appreciated. Thank you.
Beautiful view of the sea and city from the hotel. Can't tell which side is nicer.
Good price and environment. Loved being there. Rooms are clean and cleaning service for rooms is good.
